Barnyard Birds flock to the stores in search of Barley Bird Diet! Barley Bird Diet is the food that keeps your Barnyard Birds healthy and able to breed when its time. Without a source of food the Barnyard Birds will become sick and will need to either eat their way out of starvation or be healed using a Flu Shot. Stock up on Barley Bird Diet today and keep your birds healthy and breedable. To use the Barley Bird Diet:

1. Rez box in world
2. Right click and chose open. The items will appear in a folder in your inventory.
   • If you look in recent items you will see a folder named Barley Bird Diet.
3. Rez the Barley Bird Diet on the ground within the range of the Barnyard Birds.
   • Default range for Barnyard Birds is 5 meters
   • Remember to set home within range of food
4. Once the Barley Bird Diet has been used completely it will disappear.

**One Barley Bird Diet feeds one Barnyard Bird for 28 days**

Q: What happens to the Barnyard Bird’s after 3 days of no food do they die or go into a coma state? A: After 96 hours without food your Barnyard Bird will become sick and need to be healed with a Flu Shot. You will be able to tell your Barnyard Bird is sick because it will show in the hover text and the hover text will turn red. It will go back to its normal appearance once it is healed. However, you can let your Barnyard Bird eat its way out of sickness which will take approximately 4 days.

Q: What are the restrictions of Pet Pellets? A: When you put your Barnyard Bird’s on Pet Pellets and then switch them over to Barley Bird Diet food it will take 7 days after being transferred to breeder food before they can start building vigor.

Q: How long does food last? Pet & Breedable A: The food will last 2 Barnyard Bird’s 2 weeks.

Q: Can new bird eat pet food as long as you switch them to breeder food before age 7 or will that trigger the 7-day cool down? A: The 7 day waiting period starts when you switch the Barnyard Bird from pet food to breeder food no matter what age they are.

Pet Pellets will keep your Barnyard Bird healthy not just when they are Seniors but also on those younger birds you simply do Not want to breed. Without a source of food the Barnyard Birds will become sick and will need to either eat their way out of starvation or be healed using a Flu Shot. Stock up on Pet Pellets today and keep your birds healthy! To use the Pet Pellets:

1. Rez box in world
2. Right click and chose open. The items will appear in a folder in your inventory.
   • If you look in recent items you will see a folder named Pet Pellets.
3. Rez the Pet Pellets on the ground within the range of the Barnyard Birds.
   • Be sure to set your Barnyard Bird to Pet Food using their Main menu
   • Default range for Barnyard Birds is 5 meters
   • Remember to set home within range of food
4. Once the Pet Pellets have been used completely they will disappear.

**One Pet Pellets feeds one Barnyard Bird for 28 days**

Orange Rinds

Orange Rinds

These delicious orange rinds are used to build the vivacity of your Barnyard Bird! These are important as your Barnyard Bird must have 85% or higher vivacity coupled with 100% vigor in order to breed. To use the Orange Rinds:

1. Rez box in world
2. Right click and chose open, the items will appear in a folder in your inventory.
   • If you look in recent items you will see a folder named Orange Rinds.
3. Rez the Orange Rinds on the ground within the range of the Barnyard Birds.
4. The Orange Rinds give a gradual boost to vivacity slowly over time.
5. When the Orange Rinds are completely used up they will disappear.

High Potency Seeds

High Potency Seeds

These seeds pack a potent punch! High Potency Seeds provide a 10% increase to Vigor. Vigor is important as your Barnyard Bird must have 85% or higher vivacity coupled with 100% vigor in order to breed. This consumable can only be used on a Barnyard Bird once in a 24 hour period. To use the High Potency Seeds:

1. Rez box in world
2. Right click and chose open. The items will appear in a folder in your inventory.
   • If you look in recent items you will see a folder named High Potency Seeds.
3. Rez the High Potency Seeds on the ground within the range of the Barnyard Bird You wish to give it to.
4. .Left click the Barnyard Bird, chose Consumables from the menu and then Potency.
5. Once the High Potency Seed is given to the Barnyard Bird it will disappear.

**This consumable can only be used on a Barnyard Bird once in a 24 hour period.

Poultry Glow

Poultry Glow

This is the trifecta of consumables! The Poultry Glow provides a 5% increase to Stamina, a 5% increase to Vivacity and a 5% increase to Vigor. This consumable can only be used on a Barnyard Bird once in a 24 hour period. To use the Poultry Glow:

1. Rez box in world
2. Right click and chose open. The items will appear in a folder in your inventory.
   • If you look in recent items you will see a folder named Poultry Glow.
3. Rez the Poultry Glow on the ground within the range of the Barnyard Birds.
4. Left click the Barnyard Bird, chose Consumables and then Glow.
5. Once the Poultry Glow is given to the Barnyard Bird it will disappear.

**This consumable can only be used on a Barnyard Bird once in a 24 hour period.

Flu Shot

Flu Shot

If your Barnyard Bird runs out of food, or if you leave it in your inventory it will become sick. Once your Barnyard Bird is sick it will take 4 days for it to eat its way out of sickness, or you can purchase a one-time use Flu Shot that will heal one Barnyard Bird instantly! To use the Flu Shot:

1. Rez box in world
2. Right click and chose open. The items will appear in a folder in your inventory.
   • If you look in recent items you will see a folder named Flu Shot.
3. Rez the Flu Shot on the ground within the range of the Barnyard Birds.
4. Left click the Barnyard Bird, chose Consumables and then Flu Shot.
5. Once the Flu Shot is given to the Barnyard Bird it will disappear.

G.P.S. (Global Peck'n Sort)

G.P.S.(Global Peck'n Sort

The Barnyard Bird G.P.S. (Global Peck'n Sort) is a tool that will change the settings on all your Barnyard Birds on one sim all at one time!!

1. Click the G.P.S. Updater.
2. Pick your Settings one at a time.
   • Movement
   • Animations
   • Text
   • Sounds
   • Range
   • Home
3. Hit Activate

After hitting activate your Barnyard Birds on the sim will all change to the same settings as you chose on the G.P.S.

Vivacity Corn

Vivacity Corn

These one time use Vivacity Corns will increase one of your birds vivacity by 15%.

1. Open boxed Vivacity Corn and rez next to the bird you wish to increase the vivacity.
2. Click the bird and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find Vivacity Corn from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the birds stats have been updated the Vivacity Corn will disappear.

**This stat booster can only be used on a bird once in a 24 hour period**

Beloved Bird

Beloved Bird

The Beloved Bird will make a Senior Bird so that it will not require food any more. All other normal functions for a Senior Bird will still operate normally. It only works for Senior Birds (Senior Bird= No more cycles remaining) and can be used for both male and female Senior Birds.

Instructions: Open boxed Beloved Bird and rez next to the bird you wish to become a pet. Click the bird and go to the consumables option on the menu. Find Beloved from the options on the menu and click it. Once the birds stats have been updated the Beloved Bird consumable will disappear.
